Martin studied advertising and communication in Munich, his hometown. After graduating in the early nineties, he started his career in advertising. In 1996 he moved to Prague to work for McCann-Erickson. After one year in Prague he joined the BBDO group to establish a BTL agency. In 2000 he took on a great challenge and was responsible for the transformation of Advis/BBDO into Proximity Prague.
Since then he has co-managed and grown the agency into one of the strongest and most acknowledged in the region – winning creative awards at top international award shows, including a Cannes Lion in 2007.
Martin has worked for almost all categories of business, including local and international clients such as O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Unicreditbank, Komercni Banka, CSOB, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Penny Market, Ahold, Shell, Procter and Gamble and many others.
Martin is a true believer in fully integrated communication and is always looking for the big, populist creative idea.
In April 2011 he took on the role of CEO at Lowe and Open at Lowe, to once again be part of building an agency with a truly integrated and contemporary offer.
Besides work he loves to spend time with his wife Tina and their son Florian, preferably in the mountains for skiing in winter and at the sea in summer.
He is a passionate freeride skier and relaxed golf beginner – unfortunately for almost 10 years now.
